EYFS

EYFS have been very busy this term. We had a Firefighter visit; the children enjoyed learning about what they do and the equipment that they use. We went to World of Country Life for a school trip where the children learnt about different animals on the farm. The children have also been enjoying riding the bikes in the Spring sunshine.

We celebrated 'Shrove Tuesday'. The children had great fun making pancakes, eating them and taking part in pancake themed activities.

This term we have been doing gymnastics in our PE sessions. The children have enjoyed balancing, climbing and jumping using a variety of equipment.

This term we have been learning about the world. We have learnt about the Continents, Countries and landmarks. We have enjoyed sharing different stories based in different Countries and have had fun tasting different foods.

This term, the children have worked hard on their Nativity performance. They learnt all of the songs, actions and their lines. They thoroughly enjoyed putting on a show and they were all amazing.

EYFS have been learning 'The Gingerbread Man' story. We have enjoyed learning the story and have joined in with retelling the story. We had great fun making gingerbread men. We helped to add the ingredients to make the dough and we rolled out the dough to make our gingerbread man.

The children have settled well into their new school. They have loved exploring different activities and have enjoyed playing with new friends.
