Links with our local community - we have enjoyed sending and receiving letters from our local residential home.
The children have all tried really hard with the 'shot put' technique and are very proud of how far they can now throw the ball. They enjoyed watching an 'Olympic shot put men's final' and finding out that the shot put weighs 7.26kg. The children had a go at lifting 7.26kg and all agreed that it is much easier using a tennis ball!

During our 'Stone age to the Iron age' topic, we went on a 'Stone age' walk to find some sticks which we could use to create a cave painting. After our walk, we crawled through our 'classroom cave' to paint our cave paintings.
